Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha got off to a hot start because of the popularity of its theme song and the male protagonist that everyone lusted after. Saad, as portrayed by Wahaj Ali, is gentle, kind, and respectful above all else. Yes, these characteristics should be common in dramas, but sadly, it was unusual to see a character with such characteristics on our screens. The show starred Wahaj Ali and Hania Aamir, which is, to be honest, a fail-proof pairing for any drama right now, yet it still managed to go wrong because the plot was so absurd that viewers were irritated.
Every time you see the drama, Maheer will be sobbing, Areeb will be in the hospital for some reason, and Saad will be repeatedly making himself miserable for unappreciative people. Salma Hassan’s character is the craziest parent, however, all parents are insane in their own right.
Therefore, Rabya Kulsoom’s portrayal of Saad’s sister Neelo is the only one currently making sense. She is at least tolerable, and in the most recent episode, she insulted Maheer, which, if nothing else, she kind of deserved because she is stupid.
