As soon as the videos of both senior actresses distributing Langar went viral, they faced criticism on social media.
Social media users are saying that these celebrities are distributing food while recording with cameras.
One user said that if you are giving free food, then why show it off. Some others commented that they hope this work continues even after Muharram.
This is not the first time actress Resham has faced criticism for distributing Langar.
Every year during Muharram, she prepares food herself and gives it to poor people with her own hands.
But because of the videos shared on social media, people accuse her of doing it for show.
Earlier, the senior actress had responded to the criticism and said that if people think I am doing this for show, then they should try doing the same kind of show themselves.
