Dr. Khalid Saeed Butt, father of renowned Pakistani film, television and theater actor, writer and choreographer Usman Khalid Butt, passed away.
While tweeting on the social media website Twitter, the actor has said that his father left this mortal world late last night, his funeral prayer will be offered later today in Lahore.
Usman Khalid Butt informed the social media users about his late father’s services for the art and culture department by tweeting.
He wrote that his father Dr. Khalid Saeed Butt, founder director general of Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), former director general Lok Wartha, former MDNAFDEC, former DG National Hijra. He has served the Department of Art and Culture as a council.
Usman Khalid Butt has said that his late father was also a respected stage and screen actor, director and writer, who launched many legendary artists of PTV.
