A Concert in Ramadan, a critique of Faseeh Bari Khan’s Philak Shabeer

Fasih Bari Khan, a well-known scriptwriter of Pakistan showbiz industry, took a dig at singer Falak Shabir for his statement regarding his performance in Ramadan.

Yesterday, the famous singer held a question and answer session on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, in which he answered a question saying that he cannot even think of doing a concert in Ramadan.

He further said that on the contrary, he prefers special prayers in this month.

However, on this statement of the singer, the script writer Fasih Bari Khan, presenting his opinion, called Falk Shabbir a hypocrite.

He shared the statement of Falak Shabbir which went viral on social media and wrote that ‘This is the earnings of show business, with the blessing of which you sit at home for the whole month and enjoy yourself.’

He further wrote that “Deen is not remembered while earning crores while filling the pockets. Long live the religious hypocrites. After enjoying all the comforts of the world, what can one say about this Islamic touch”.

However, social media users were not happy with Faseeh Bari Khan’s comment, and termed it as the singer’s own will and preferences.
