A shocking claim is going viral on social media platform Twitter these days, claiming that Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio allegedly ate 70 pounds of “child meat.”
The revelation comes in the recently released files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Some posts also claim that the actor described himself as a cannibal in emails with filmmaker Woody Allen.

These sensational claims have sparked concern and surprise among social media users, but a review of available documents and authoritative reports has revealed a completely different reality.
Among the millions of documents released by the US Department of Justice, which relate to Epstein’s network and contacts, Leonardo DiCaprio’s name appears only a few times. According to the documents, in one email, former British diplomat Peter Mendelson contacted Epstein about potential brand endorsements for DiCaprio, while another email mentioned a possible dinner meeting with the actor in 2016.

Importantly, there is no mention of cannibalism, “child meat” or any kind of criminal activity anywhere in these documents.
The serious allegations that went viral were actually spread by a few unverified websites and conspiracy theory-based reports, which attempted to sensationalize global figures by misrepresenting vague terms.
According to social media community fact checks and independent research, DiCaprio’s name appeared in the files only because Epstein had exaggerated his relationships with influential figures on various occasions.
Court records and testimonies have also revealed that the actor was neither seen on any of Epstein’s properties nor has any accusation of corruption or illegal activity been proven against him.
According to experts, this claim is completely false and is part of a misleading campaign spreading on social media. The fact check has revealed that the Epstein documents contain no evidence of cannibalism or any serious crime against Leonardo DiCaprio.
