Legendary actor Dharmendra of the Indian film industry played his last film on the big screen before his death, which will now remain memorable.
Despite his poor health, the late Dharmendra worked in director Sriram Raghavan’s new film ‘Ikkis’, in which he plays the father of 21-year-old martyred soldier Arun Khetrapal. The role of Arun is played by actor Agastya Nanda.
Dharmendra’s role in the film is not only emotional but also provides depth to the story. His seriousness and experience make the character more effective.
Agastya Nanda, who made his debut with Zoya Akhtar’s film The Archies, will bring the brave and sacrificial character of Arun Khetrapal to the screen in this film.
The cast of the film also includes other talented actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikandar Kher, who further strengthen the story. “Ikkis” is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The film is written by Raghavan along with Arijit Biswas and Pooja Ladhasri.
The film by the late actor is set to release on December 25 later this year.
