KARACHI: Actress Amna Ilyas says that actors like her face discrimination in the industry because they are not white.
Recently, the famous actress Amina Ilyas participated in Express Entertainment’s program The Talk Talk Show where she talked about many topics including the difficulties faced in her career.
Amina Ilyas revealed that due to her dark complexion, she faced discrimination many times in the Pakistan showbiz industry.
The actress said that if we look at our industry, every actor and actress will be fair and tall and look the same because we have fixed the standards of beauty.
Amina Ilyas said that she faced color discrimination many times when her complexion did not match that of her co-star on screen.
However, the actress said that she got an opportunity to act in more films than dramas which is the dream of any actress and it is her luck that she does more films than dramas.
It should be noted that soon Amina Ilyas and Affan Waheed’s film Mastani will hit the cinemas with Pakistan.
