Los Angeles: The South Indian film industry’s hit song ‘Natu Natu’ has won the Oscar for Best Original Song.

The song Natu Natu from the hit Telugu language action and thriller film ‘RRR’ directed by SS Rajamouli has made history by becoming the first Indian song to win an Oscar.

The blockbuster song won the Best Original Song award at the 95th Academy Awards beating American singers like Lady Gaga and Rihanna, which is being celebrated in the Telugu film industry.

Its catchy tempo and choreography captivated audiences across the globe and earned it a nomination for the 95th Academy Awards.

On the other hand, another film of South Indian film industry ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ also managed to win the award for the best documentary short film.
